Whispair — Account & data deletion

This page explains how you can delete your Whispair account and/or delete certain data without deleting your account.

Delete your account in the app (recommended)

1. Open Whispair.
2. Go to Settings → Account.
3. Scroll to Danger zone.
4. Tap Delete my account.
5. Type DELETE to confirm.

When you delete your account, we delete your account and the data you own in Whispair, including:

• Global whispers you created
• 1-on-1 conversations and inbox messages
• Frozen whispers
• Profile chapters, profile pictures, and other images you uploaded
• Other content and data associated with your account

Some limited data may remain in backups and logs for a short time as described in our Privacy Policy’s retention section.

Delete some data without deleting your account

Depending on the feature, you can delete certain content from within the app, such as:

• Your global whispers
• Conversation threads

If you can’t access the app

Email us at whispair.dev@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Whispair account and include:

• Your Whispair username
• The request (“Please delete my account”)

We may ask for additional information to verify you own the account before processing the request.
